  • Dietary requirements

  • Medical needs

  • Accessibility requirements

  • Mobility needs

  • Communication needs

  • Requirements for children or young travelers

  • Any other support you may need during your safari

Please provide this information before we confirm your booking. This helps us plan a safe and comfortable experience for everyone.

Zamunda Travels may need to change the itinerary because of events beyond our control. These events may include strikes, road closures, theft, disease outbreaks, extreme weather, fire, natural disasters, or vehicle problems.

We may also need to change your transport, accommodation, or planned activities.

If we make any changes, we will inform you as soon as possible. We will try to provide a suitable alternative.

2. Booking Contract

Your booking becomes confirmed when we send you written confirmation after receiving the required deposit.

Please check your booking confirmation carefully. Tell us if you find any missing or incorrect information.

Make sure that all names match the relevant passports or travel documents.

The booking contract becomes valid after you accept these Terms and Conditions.

3. Payment

To confirm a safari, you must pay a 30% deposit of the basic safari price.

Gorilla and chimpanzee permits require full payment in advance before we can make the reservation.

The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the safari, unless we agree to another payment plan with you.

Please follow all safety instructions from your guide and wildlife rangers.

For your safety and the protection of wildlife, please keep a safe distance from animals and follow the rules of the national park.

A gorilla or chimpanzee permit allows you to take part in the tracking activity. However, it does not guarantee a clear view of the animals.

6. Accommodation

Zamunda Travels selects suitable hotels, lodges, camps, and guesthouses for our clients.

We choose accommodation based on location, comfort, facilities, service, and price.

Please tell us about any dietary, accessibility, mobility, or other accommodation needs before your safari. We will share this information with the relevant accommodation providers.

Sometimes, we may need to change your accommodation. If this happens, we will provide accommodation of a similar or higher standard where possible.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

Zamunda Travels may ask a participant to stop taking part in an activity or safari if their behavior creates a serious safety risk or causes harm to other people, property, wildlife, or the environment.

We aim to treat all clients fairly and respectfully. We will consider the circumstances before taking such action.

If a safari ends because of serious safety or behavior concerns, we may not provide a refund. Zamunda Travels will also not cover extra costs caused by the termination of the safari.

We will inform you as soon as possible if we need to cancel your safari.

If you do not make the required payment, we may cancel your booking.

No refund will be made for unused services caused by late arrival, early departure, or a no-show.

8. Health, Accessibility, and Safety

Every traveler has different needs. Please tell us about any health, accessibility, mobility, dietary, or communication needs before your safari.

We will do our best to understand your needs and make reasonable arrangements where possible.

You are responsible for taking reasonable health and safety precautions before and during your safari.

Please seek medical advice before travelling if needed.

Some safari activities may have physical requirements. If you have concerns about taking part in an activity, please discuss them with us before booking.

We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance before travelling to Uganda or other safari destinations.

Your travel insurance should cover medical treatment, evacuation, trip cancellation, and other unexpected travel costs.

Local medical evacuation services may be available in Uganda in case of an emergency.
