Day 1 : Pick up and transfer to Akagera National Park

Drive to Akagera National Park passing through Rwanda’s phenomenal landscapes and living lifestyles start your morning game drive, which takes you on tops of rolling hills surrounded by beautiful lakes from the south up to the north, on top of a hill when watching a magic view of 3 lakes in a same time. where you will surprise buffaloes and elephants drinking. Some are home to some species of birds like Egyptian goose and fishing eager. Have a picnic lunch in the park then continue with the hills game drive. Here you meet all animals known to be living in a game park: impalas, zebras, bush bucks, water bucks, tops, orbits, baboons, giraffes, cape elands and so many others. Take a boat trip on Lake Ihema in the afternoon

Day 2 : Full Game Drive

Early morning after break fast you will start to experience Akagera National Park as a Savannah park with Elephants, Hippos, Buffaloes and Lions. After an early breakfast, we take a game drive in search of these animals, the game drive will take us to the northern part of the park where most of the animals prefer to inhabit and drive back to the lodge for overnight

Day 3 : Half Game drive and back to Kigali

Early morning after break fast you will start to experience Akagera National Park in deferent routs as a Savannah park with Elephants, Hippos, Buffaloes and Lions. After an early breakfast, we take a game drive in search of these animals, the game drive will take us to the northern part of the park where most of the animals prefer to inhabit and drive back to Kigali for overnight and dinner.

Day 4: Transfer to the home of chimpanzees – Nyungwe Forest

This morning we depart from Kigali to Nyungwe forest having our lunch en-route in Huye. We have opportunity of exploring the National Museum in Huye. After this experience, we continue our drive to Nyungwe top view lodge perched on top a hill for overnight slightly past nyungwe forest.

Day 5 : Chimpanzee trekking and Canopy walk

After an early breakfast, we leave for Chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe forest. The forest is rich in botanical diversity and home to 13 species of primates including Chimpanzees, L’Hoest monkeys, and Columbus monkeys. You will receive briefing from your ranger guide and thereafter start your trek. Later that afternoon or immediately you will take on the canopy walk experiencing the forest differently.

Day 6 : Ngabwe Trail in nyungwe national park

Nyungwe national park Hiking trails in the park are divided into three geographical groups which include the trails between Kitabi and Uwinka reception center , a trail that begins at Uwinka reception and the trial that begins at uwinka and Gisakura reception. Here you will experience the Ngabwe Trial which is between Kitabi and Uwinka reception Distance is 4.7 km estimated time is 3hrs, Rating: Elevation low point: 2320km. this trial is among Nyungwe national park Hiking Trails and it begins in 200 meters down the short side from main road about 3km from the park entrance on Kitabi reception side . The trial offers the best view and also good for birding.

Day 7 : Transfer from Nyungwe to Volcanoes NP through Lake Kivu belt

We leave Nyungwe for Volcanoes national park right after breakfast. Your drive will partly along the Congo –Nile trail with views of Lake Kivu and its Islands on our way, arriving at Gisenyi where we visit the fishing village, visit DRC-Rwanda border (Gisenyi town) and relax at the lakeside in the evening. This will offer the much- needed rest before you embark on journey to Volcano National Park

Day 8: Mountain Gorillas

Meet the mountain gorillas in the dense jungles of the Virunga ranges. Embark on the trek through the habitat of these enormous animals. Such an unforgettable experience on many people’s bucket list. The trek can last from an hour to four hours depending on where the gorillas nested the previous night – you need to be relatively fit to enjoy this experience. After that you will back to your hotel

Day 9 : Golden Monkey trekking and back in Kigali

Really interesting and a little difficult to photograph! The golden monkey trek is worth going for while in Volcanoes National Park then after that you will drive back to your hotel in Kigali

Day 10 : Kigali City Tour And drop off for flight

In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked from the hotel and start Kigali city tour, Starting by vising Gisozi Genocide Memorial site to learn more about Genocide against Tutsi of 1994, from there after your lunch, you will visit local market and shopping art center for getting souvenirs as it will be your last day. Then later according to your flight, you will be dropped at airport
