Overnight: Under the Shade Safari Lodge
Meals: Lunch
Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Elephants & Baobabs
After breakfast, drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, approximately 1.5–2 hours away.
Spend the day exploring this beautiful park, famous for its ancient baobab trees, the Tarangire River and large elephant herds. You may also encounter lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, antelope and a variety of bird species.
Later, continue to Foresight Eco Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Overnight: Foresight Eco Lodge

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – A Wildlife Haven
After breakfast, travel towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater.
The crater offers an impressive concentration of wildlife, with opportunities to see lions, spotted hyenas, elephants, buffalo, gazelles and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. The crater floor also includes Lake Magadi, where flamingos and other waterbirds can sometimes be seen.
After your crater experience, continue towards the Serengeti and your overnight accommodation.
Overnight: Serengeti House of Nature
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 4: Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti
Today you head deeper into the Serengeti. Begin with a game drive around Seronera, one of the park’s major wildlife areas and a strong location for year-round game viewing.
Look for lions, cheetahs and leopards, including leopards that may be found resting in trees along the Seronera River.
Continue north towards the Mara River region, enjoying game viewing along the way. Arrive at Moyo Migration Camp Mara, where you will spend the next two nights.

Day 5: Mara River – Great Migration Experience
Today is dedicated to exploring the Northern Serengeti and Mara River region.
Spend the day on a full-day game drive, exploring the river, grasslands, kopjes and surrounding woodland. The area is home to hippos, Nile crocodiles, lions, elephants, giraffes, topi and zebras.
When the Migration herds are in the area, you may have an opportunity to witness the dramatic Mara River crossings. These crossings are seasonal and cannot be guaranteed because the movement of the herds depends on rainfall and changing conditions. The source itinerary identifies July to October as the main crossing period.
Overnight: Moyo Migration Camp Mara
Meals: Breakfast & Lunch
Day 6: Return Through the Serengeti
After breakfast, begin your journey back through the Northern and Central Serengeti.
Enjoy another full day of game viewing as you travel through classic Serengeti landscapes of open plains, acacia trees and granite kopjes. Keep your camera ready for additional sightings of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, wildebeest and zebras.
Later, arrive at Foresight Eco Lodge for your final night.
