6-Day Kenya Safari: Maasai Mara, Naivasha & Amboseli

Your Zamunda Travels representative and professional driver guide will meet you at the airport or your Nairobi hotel.

After a short safari briefing, begin your journey to Maasai Mara. Along the way, stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for panoramic views and photographs.

Continue towards the Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch. After check-in, enjoy some time to relax.

Later, you may visit a Maasai village to learn about local culture and traditions. Continue to the reserve for an evening game drive.

Look out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and other wildlife.

Dinner and overnight: Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.

After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara.

With a packed picnic lunch, explore the reserve from morning until late afternoon. Your guide will help you search for the Big Five and other wildlife.

The Mara is also home to many bird species. During the drive, you will explore different habitats and scenic areas of the reserve.

You will also visit the Mara River, known for its large hippos and crocodiles. During the Great Wildebeest Migration season, the river becomes an important crossing point for migrating wildebeest.

Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Enjoy breakfast before checking out and driving towards Lake Naivasha.

Arrive in time for lunch and check in at your accommodation. Spend the afternoon relaxing or enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

For an additional cost, you can take an optional sunset boat ride on Lake Naivasha. The experience offers beautiful lake views and opportunities to see hippos and water birds.

Dinner and overnight: Burch Resort or similar.

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey to Amboseli National Park.

Arrive around lunchtime, check in, and enjoy lunch at the lodge. Take some time to relax before heading out for an afternoon and sunset game drive.

Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Keep your camera ready as you explore the park’s wildlife-rich landscapes.

Dinner and overnight: Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar.

After breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch.

Explore the park in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and many bird species.

You will also visit Observation Hill, one of the best places to enjoy panoramic views of Amboseli and its surrounding landscapes.

On a clear day, Mount Kilimanjaro creates a spectacular backdrop for photographs.

Return to the lodge in the evening.

Dinner and overnight: Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar.

Enjoy breakfast before checking out and beginning your journey back to Nairobi.

You will have an en-route lunch at your own cost. On arrival in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
